The U Can Turn it Around Initiative will create awareness through the following methods:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Video Blogs<\/strong>– Supporters will be encouraged to join the<\/p>\n

Facebook U Can Turn It Around group \u00a0and create<\/p>\n

a 3-5 minute video addressing youth violence in their community and offer solutions on how to combat it.<\/p>\n

Photography & visual artists<\/strong>-Supporters will be encouraged to take pictures and create drawings that illustrate how violence has ravaged their communities and alternative activities that could turn the initiators of violence around.<\/p>\n

Informal sessions & round table discussions<\/strong>-community partners<\/p>\n

will offer sessions to the public on ways to combat the epidemic of violent acts that are being committed against today\u2019s youth.<\/p>\n

Music & Poetry<\/strong>– local musicians and spoken word artists will create works<\/p>\n

of art that will address violence and its effect on society.<\/p>\n\n
